About Me
Hi, my name is Mary Green, I started Social Media Fuze in June 2012, after almost 10 years of internet marketing experience. I have been helping various various clients with their social media accounts since 2010. I began blogging in late 2003 when I first started looking for work online.
My goal is to use Social Media Fuze to share my knowledge, theories and strategies with others who were hoping to use social media to get more exposure for their businesses.
I love the work, opportunities and relationships I’ve gained from having this work. I hope to use this about page to give you more information about me, in hopes that we may someday work together or develop a business relationship.

- Inbound marketing– all aspects from planning to social media, blogging and tracking.
- Blogging– topic choice, promotion of posts, calls to action, formatting, and tone/voice.
- WordPress– Set up, Theme customizations, Plugin choices and settings.
- SEO– Keyword research, on site internal linking and page optimization.
- Social Media– Growth, internal communication, sentiment, promotions and customer service.
My Experiences in Online Marketing
Beginning in 2003 I connected with webmasters who needed content for their clients. I began writing articles and when Blogger was launched I started blogging for clients.
Over time I became interested in increasing my income and learned how to use pay per click for affiliate and cost per action commissions. Through pay per click I learned about SEO, landing page optimization, email marketing, building a list, ad testing and ad copy (copywriting).
To improve my skills further I found AWAI and took courses with them for SEO copywriting. Soon clients began to ask about social media, and to further assist them I became active on Facebook, Twitter and others to clients grow. Eventually I realized how much I enjoyed social media and writing, started offering the services together.
From my background in blogging, social media and pay per click I have learned how to write short copy, structure campaigns and analyze results. I enjoy working agencies and businesses of all sizes. In the past several years I have worked with over a dozen agencies providing social media, blogging, and content distribution services.
About Me Personally
I’m a mom- the first reason I started working from home- to have time with my family. Of course, it isn’t always easy to balance life and work when the kids are in the next room, but I am passionate about what I do, and with a supportive husband I am able to be home for everything I don’t want to miss, and work on exciting campaigns while the office doors are shut.
I’ve been with my husband for 11 years, and have been excited about the internet since I was 14. I love learning new things, connecting with new people and seeing results from my work.
In my free time I like watching Scandal, Castle, Suits and Once Upon A Time. My favorite CD right now is Luke Bryan- Crash My Party. And when I have an afternoon off, I like to go to the casino to play bingo (no I am NOT an old lady)!
