Social Media Plan Template

Start managing your social media with a plan template that is easy to follow and use.

Hopefully you will find this social media plan template to be a useful tool in getting your social media campaign started, because the sooner you can start it, the sooner you will see the benefits of social media.

4 Components in the Social Media Plan Template

Consistency-

Before I show you the social media plan template I just want to stress the importance of being consistent with your social media efforts.

Think of it this way, you are new to a group of people, each time you show up, they get to know you more, and you get to know them more, after consistently showing up you’ve made new friends. But you have to KEEP SHOWING UP!!!

This plan will focus on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin & Pinterest.

Response

It is very important to respond to your fans when they comment on your fanpage, write to you on twitter, or any other network. You want to show you care, as well as take the opportunity to get in front of them again, this keeps you at the forefront of their mind.

Personality

Be yourself, show your fans who you are, respond as if you had a client right in front of you that asked the same question, or even liked your idea. Share your thoughts and opinions on topics that matter in your industry, because it matters to them as well.

Obviously you want to keep your language professional, but casual, no swearing, disrespect, etc.

Patience

You MUST be patient. You can not expect to build an empire overnight, you have to start somewhere, and there is no better time than today. This social media plan template won’t turn your into a millionaire, give you thousands of fans in a week or anything ridiculous like that.

It takes time, give it weeks and months to know it’s working and you will see results. Continue learning how to improve your presence and you will get where you need to be.

  1. Hello,
That’s an interesting template. Most bloggers don’t have a plan. They just do what comes to their minds. I always say, not planning is planning to fail and that’s true even for out Internet business.

In my twitter plan, I heavily use my tool EasyRetweet.com because I get interesting results. I’m also going to check out Tweetwally to see what I can get from it.

    Thanks for sharing it
